Letting agents have been in the media quite a lot recently when it comes to their business practices, fees and terms of business. Unfortunately, not in a good way.

Bad practices include financial penalty clauses that make terminating your agency agreement financially unviable, collection of rent in advance while paying rent to landlords a month in arrears, 100% commission charges on subcontractor work.
redlets do not engage in any of these practices. We believe that by dealing with our clients with absolute honesty and fairness, our clients would never want to go anywhere else.
- We believe in giving value for money in everything we do. We don’t charge an ongoing monthly fee for simply finding a tenant - we charge a one-off fee for finding a tenant and setting up a tenancy. If your tenant wants to re-new we’ll do this at no charge to landlord or tenant
- Our landlords are our clients. It is our role to advise them and act on their instruction. We ensure that they are fully engaged in all important decisions.
- Our fees are as clear and transparent as possible. We don’t hide fees and penalty clauses for landlords or tenants in our terms of business
- We believe in fair and transparent terms of business, we don’t include any unreasonable tie-in clauses. In the unlikely event that you’re not happy with our service, and we are unable to satisfy your requirements, we make it simple for you to terminate your contract with us.
